Join us on Sunday afternoon for Tea for Two … Hundred or So, a benefit for the Canadian Women’s Foundation’s Women Moving Women campaign. Your attendance will help support women as they begin their journey out of poverty by participating in life-changing programs funded by CWF.

The Sisterhood Soiree
May 27 2009, Windsor Arms Hotel, Toronto.

Chaired by long-time CWF supporter, Anne-Marie Canning, the Sisterhood Soiree was an event “first” in women’s philanthropy in Canada. The Soiree celebrated $1million being raised by donors brought into the Women Moving Women campaign through the “Sisterhood Soiree Cabinet” (a group of 50 wonderful women who pledged to find many more wonderful women to help move a woman out of poverty).

The glittering evening, hosted by Valerie Pringle, featured a musical performance by Canadian singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk, and a special reading by Deepa Mehta and her daughter Devyani Saltzman.
